The Centre & Almondvale West Retail Park, Livingston: Investment Sale

Because of our specialism in creative investment marketing campaigns for prime retail property assets, Colliers International’s UK Retail Investment team appointed us to produce the marketing collateral for the sale of The Centre Shopping Centre and Almondvale Retail Park in Livingston, West Lothian, one of the top ten retail assets to come to the market in 2014.


Our Approach

Our strategy recognised that the significant size and value of the assets required the marketing material be targeted at a very specific set of potential purchasers; some of which were international with no prior local market knowledge.

To market the property our team produced a premium quality brochure that provided comprehensive information on the investment opportunity and featured a hard cover and lay-flat binding to give it gravitas and authority and an iBook that showcased detailed financial information, floorplans, images and video in a flexible and dynamic way that allowed presenters to move through the presentation in response to the requirements of each meeting and a secure dataroom. The assets were sold to HSBC Alternative Investments in late 2014, three months after coming to market for £244m, a sum well in excess of expectations.
