The rapidly-expanding restaurant chain, Vapiano, is among the brands attending today’s Marketplace.
For the past 13 years, its fresh and quick cuisine concept has been well-received across the world, and there are now 170 restaurants across 30 countries.
Vapiano’s Florian Schneider, comments: “We currently have seven restaurants in the Netherlands and hope to open a further two here this year. The group’s global goal is to have a total of 400 restaurants by 2020”.
Vapiano combines fresh, homemade ingredients and the customers' individual preferences to create unique personal favourite meals, served ‘à la minute’ in a fresh, casual dining environment.
Every diner is given a chip card on which their food and drinks' orders are booked. Florian Schneider remarks: “Each restaurant offers ten original types of pasta plus homemade pizza dough, sauces, dressings, and pestos, plus desserts which are produced primarily in the glass Manifattura by our Vapianisti who are the heart and soul of Vapiano restaurants”.
Each restaurant is characterised by light colours, wooden panels, herbs and plants on the tables and the centrepiece of every Vapiano: A 100-year old olive tree.
